Iran-“Those who ridicule death”

 Lost in my memories I remembered the first half of 1981 when for a few months a movie named “I want to live” starring Fara Foste was on Tehran’s silver screens.  At that time it was about two months since I had fled from a Revolutionary Guards prison, only a few days before my execution. Therefore, I fully understood the moral objective sought in that film.
I suddenly remembered the thousands of prisoners who before being executed did not even give their names to the henchmen, and the regime posted their pictures asking their families to identify their children at the forensics. The families, after paying the gun-squad charges of their own children’s execution, would finally receive their dead bodies! Although this may seem unbelievable, but it is truly painstaking for a father to pay for the bullets that killed his own son, just to receive his dead body! All of them loved life and had devoted their all struggling for it.

 

A Better Future

The cold and faceless 4-meter high cement walls of Liberty, a camp adjacent to Baghdad International Airport, have separated me from the outside world. This is a prison where its detainees are jailed for having liberal, progressive beliefs in democracy and freedom.
Due to Tehran’s influence in Iraq, the management of this camp is in the hands of elements that actually support the Iranian regime.
The members of this camp management team are the same individuals who were involved in a number of massacres against the residents, and each day they add to their harassment. However, despite all this hardship the residents are determined that even if the conditions become one hundred thousand times harder than this, they will never quit their struggle to realize freedom for the Iranian people.

Persistence of anti-human siege in Camp Liberty

Enough is enough; this dirty game should be stopped. Basic humanitarian need can’t be used for political purposes and ulterior motives. Once again we are backing to the zero point, this time the obstructing entry of essential logistics which is continuing for third consecutive week and there is no protest from U.N.A.M.I and no action from U.S.A. State Department or U.S. embassy in Iraq. What has happen to all those promises? Don’t they know this basic facts that silence only embolden the Iraqi official in charge of liberty camp management who are just following the order of mullah’s ambassador in Iraq. What is up now?
It is the news: By the orders of the Governmental Committee tasked to suppress Ashraf, Iraqi forces are obstructing entry of vehicles carrying repair and maintenance items for the third straight week.
